What Personal Information Does Lee's Tools Gather About Their Customers?

Information You Give Us: We store the information you enter on our Website. You can choose not to provide certain information; however, some information is necessary to process your order. We use the information that you provide for purposes such as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for each individual customers, improving our websites, and communicating better with our customers.

Does Lee's Tools Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our customers is important part of our business. We share customer information only with the business partners as described below:

Agents: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include: filling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Protection of Lee's Tools and Others: We release account and other personal information when appropriate to comply with the law such as: enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements, protect the rights of Lee's Tools property and safety. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as we have outlined in this policy and to our terms of service. We may decide to change this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post those changes on the website so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. Payment Policy

We accept the following types of Payment:
Credit Card - Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
WE ONLY SHIP TO BILLING ADDRESS OF CARD HOLDER, NO EXCEPTION. If your billing address is a PO Box, we cannot process your order by credit card.
Company Check – with Valid US Government ID – Must be approved by Telecheck
Wire Transfer – on Large orders or special cases.
PayPal – We only ship to VALID CONFIRMED SHIPPING ADDRESS, NO EXCEPTION. If your shipping address is not CONFIRMED by PayPal, we cannot process your order by PayPal.
Please complete all necessary information requested when processing a payment.


Order Policy

Lee's Tools website does not offer on-line order cancellation. To cancel an order, please contact our order department at 310-639-1900 within 24 hours of placing your order during business hours. You may also e-mail your request to

Lee’s Tools reserves the right to cancel orders for any reason; we will contact the customer when it does cancel.

We are not responsible for manufacturer changes in product or specifications.

Order Status

We will respond to your order as soon as possible during normal business hours: Monday thru Friday. We will provide information as to when and how your order will ship, as well as calculating any appropriate shipping charges if we are shipping via UPS, FEDEX, or USPS.


Shipping Restrictions

Certain products may be restricted from shipping by UPS, FEDEX, or USPS.

       1. Chemical products such as paints, solvents, cleaning products.
       2. Heavy bagged goods, i.e. building materials.
       3. Pressurized containers such as fire extinguishers, horns, and other dangerous goods.

*For these items there are alternate shipping options available, which we will address at time of shipping.


Shipping Policy

Free Shipping

FREE SHIPPING only includes shipping within the lower 48 States (excludes: Hawaii and Alaska). Any orders that select the "standard ground" option will ship at Lee’s Tools discretion utilizing one of the following carriers:  Fedex, Smart Post, USPS, UPS.


Orders shipping outside the Continental United States.
Items identified as Truck Freight.
Items shipping by Common Carrier.

Please Note: Requests for Liftgate Service may incur an additional charge.

Time expectancies:

All orders for stock merchandise received by 1:00pm P.S.T. Monday-Friday should be shipped within 24 hours. Every effort is made to ensure that your order is sent in a timely manner in the order received.

Next day, 2 day, 3-day select air service does not include Saturday or Sunday. If Saturday delivery is required, please call us and we will do our best to deliver your items when needed!

*For fraud protection, we will only ship air packages to locations on file with the credit card company. This is for the protection of the cardholder and Lee’s Tools.


If your order cannot be shipped due to backorder, you will be notified via email. If an item you want is on backorder, you have a couple options:

1.    Go ahead and order the item now and have it shipped when it’s available

2.    Be notified when the item is available for shipping

Customer is responsible for shipping charges on backordered items.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax is only charged for merchandise shipped to destinations inside California.

Truck Freight:

We do our best to provide the lowest shipping rates!

Customers are responsible for all shipping and extras (such as Liftgate and/or appointment fees, manufacturer specifics), with items shipping via Truck Freight.

HINT: If applicable, please take note of the voltage and phase of the machine you are ordering. If necessary, check with your electrician.

Common Carrier:

Items shipping Common Carrier are calculated by Fedex, UPS, or USPS.

Deliveries to residential addresses and optional services such as Liftgate, Pre-determined delivery times (appointments), may be extra and are manufacturer specific.

HINT: If applicable, please take note of the voltage and phase of the machine you are ordering. If necessary, check with your electrician.

When Shipping Via Truck Freight or Common Carrier:

Machinery and some very large orders may be delivered by a large (18-wheeler, in most cases) truck. The truck must be able to access the place of delivery.

All our shipments are carefully wrapped (and strapped to a skid, if necessary), for added protection.

*Note any missing items or any damage on the bill of lading, please retain a copy and notify       the carrier and Lee’s Tools immediately.

Please inspect all packages upon delivery. Any damages or shortages MUST be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. Please make sure to retain a signed copy for yourself. By US commerce law, all damages are the responsibility of the consumer once a delivery is signed for. We will assist as fully as we can.

HINT: If applicable, please take note of the voltage and phase of the machine you are ordering. If necessary, check with your electrician.

Charges may apply if the customer is not present when delivery is attempted.

Liftgate service means the freight is simply lowered to the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to move it from there. Arrangement for a Liftgate delivery may involve an extra day or two shipping time.

HINT: For residential deliveries: often we can arrange for you to pick up your shipment from the local terminal of a freight company. You may then get an even lower price, as much as 40%. So consider borrowing a truck or trailer or recruiting a friend/relative that has one.

Packaging Material:

In order to ensure your item arrives in the best condition possible and to avoid any possible shipping damage, some products may be opened by us before shipping out to you in order to add extra packing material. We open it only to assure your order arrives in the same condition as it was when shipped to us.

Return Policy


Returns are quick and easy when you do business with Lee’s Tools. Just call us at 310-639-1900 to get your Return Authorization Number (RMA). See below for details that apply to your specific purchase.

Please allow 1-2 business days to receive the assigned RMA number as well as return instructions, via email. Once received, please PRINT the RMA number on the outside of the package, near the shipping label. Returns sent without the RMA number clearly written on the outside of the package will be refused and returned back to the sender.
Returns need to be received within 30 days of being issued a RMA number.

Returning New and Unused items for Refund

Lee’s Tools will credit you or provide an exchange for any item returned unused in original carton within 30 days of original purchase. Items must be in resalable condition, in the original carton, unused.

Be certain to ensure that proper packaging is used to prevent any damages that may occur during the return shipment. Lee’s Tools cannot be responsible for damages occurred during the return shipping process, and this may affect the eligibility of the return in the case of damaged items caused by the carrier. Please choose the most convenient and traceable shipping carrier and method for the returning merchandise. Please retain copies of the shipping receipt and tracking number for proof of return delivery. Some items may have included free shipping. If any of these items are returned, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from the return refund amount. Item must be returned COMPLETE, in NEW & UNUSED condition with all original materials and packaging. Original shipping charges cannot be refunded.

If you return an item that is offered with free shipping, the original outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your refund and the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Returning Used Items for a Refund

There is no Return of a used items.

Performance Issues

In the unlikely event that the item you purchased is defective, the manufacturer will provide a remedy according to its own warranty. Please contact the manufacture for a service center near you. If you are still having issues, contact Lee’s Tools and we will help you to the best of our ability.

Damaged Items

We take care to assure your order arrives in excellent condition. If your purchase arrives with any damage, please call us. Hold the item and the packaging aside just as you received it. If the item was shipped from our warehouse (versus directly from the manufacturer to you, see "Drop-Shipped Items" below), we will start a claim on your behalf with the shipping company. The shipper may contact you regarding the damage. Please note that it might take them up to 2 weeks to complete the claim. Lee’s Tools cannot provide a refund or exchange until the claim reaches conclusion.

Drop-Shipped Items

JPW Industries (Jet, Powermatic, Wilton): Because of the cost involved in transporting many of these items, returns will only be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If they are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. If the item is deemed to be defective and not repairable, JPW Industries will work with us to arrange the return of the defective item. JPW Industries can be reached at 800-274-6848.

Returns / Damaged items: If you need to return an item which was purchased from us and which was shipped directly from the manufacturer, please give us a call. We will find out if we can accept the item from you or if the item needs to be returned directly to the manufacturer. In most cases, the manufacturer charges a restocking fee. This fee will vary depending on the manufacturer. You will also be responsible for the return shipping charges unless the return is due to an error on the part of Lee’s Tools or the manufacturer. If a drop-shipped item arrives damaged, do not sign for it. Please call us immediately with the deliverer present and we will assist. The restocking fee will not apply if it can be proven that the item was damaged before it reached you.

Cancellations: Requests for cancellation on orders placed through Lee’s Tools that contain items which were shipped directly from the manufacturer (drop shipped) are subject to a 25% restocking fee and all return shipping is the customer’s responsibility - this includes shipped items that are refused at the shipping destination.

Lost Packages

Lost packages are usually located by the carrier and delivered. To avoid duplicate shipments, replacements will be sent after the claims process is complete. Although we are unable to expedite replacements, please be assured that Lee’s Tools will work diligently with the carrier to resolve these matters in the most efficient way possible.

Engine Powered Equipment (Gas or Oil)

Engine Powered equipment, such as but not limited to, compressors, generators and power washers cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled. It needs to be taken to an authorized service center for any repair or technical assistance which may be covered under warranty.

Factory Shipped Items and Special Order Items

May be subject to a 25% restocking fee, these items are typically not stocked at Lee’s Tools and have been shipped by the manufacturer. Hence, any shipping costs associated with the delivery or return of the item will be at the customer's expense.

Incorrect Shipping Information

If a package is returned to Lee’s Tools due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs or the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost. Lee’s Tools is not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly due to incorrect shipping information. If the item qualified for our "Free Shipping" promotion, it will not be valid due to the error on the customer's part, and the customer will be charged for all actual shipping costs.

*If there is an error on our part, we will gladly pay for return shipping. In no event will Lee’s Tools pay for return shipping otherwise.


Customer is responsible for sending items back to Lee’s Tools, including shipping charges.

Your refund will be in the same form that was used for the original payment. Please allow up to 15 days for your refund to be issued.

We will refund you the amount you paid for the item only, excluding shipping.

Lee’s Tools reserves the right to either deny a refund/exchange or to charge a 25% fee for returned items that:

Appear used or damaged

Have been engraved or personalized in any way by the customer

Were returned more than 30 days after original purchase

Are on closeout

Were special-ordered for the customer

Were sold as reconditioned items

Have cut or damaged packaging

The customer ordered wrong voltage or phase

If an item is returned incomplete, Lee’s Tools reserves the right to deduct the price of the missing items from your credit.


Returns- All other reasons

In order to keep our prices low, we will charge a restocking fee in certain instances to re-coup the cost associated with returns.


A 25% restocking fee will be assessed in the following situations:
Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used or damaged condition
Orders "Refused" without authorization
Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected)
Any return that is not the result of defective/damaged merchandise or a shipping error


Parts Return


A 50% re-stocking fee will be assessed in the following situations:

Part was not used and is still in its original Packaging.


*All Electrical parts CANNOT be Return, No Exceptions.

 Examples: Pressure switches, circuit boards, switches, relays, mag switches…etc.

Special Orders

Special order items indicated on the website take additional time to order and ship.

Special order items that are returned will be charged a 50% restocking fee.

In the unlikely event that a special order item has a lead time longer than 30 days, Customer Service will contact you to determine if you would like to proceed with your order or cancel it. If you choose to proceed with your order, Lee’s Tools will capture the funds for the amount of the order at that time.

Special Orders– Made to order

Made to Order Special items on the website take additional time to order and ship.

Made to Order Special items cannot be Canceled or Returned. These items were made specifically for you. Please be careful when ordering such items.

Rebate Policy

Mail-in Rebates- Go to the item that the rebate is for on the website and the form will be in the “Special Tab” of that page. If for whatever reason, it is not displayed on the item page, rebate forms can often be found on the manufacturer's website.

Instant Rebates are rebates that are deducted here at Lee’s Tools at the time of billing.
